This involves everything from strategy around pricing and packaging, to supporting the team designing admin and licensing experiences, to figuring out how to guide customers and companies across their journey through various paid plans as they grow. This is an extremely important area for us to improve and get right as we continue to expand our product offering — we know our current model has not scaled well, has many challenges, and needs to be redesigned. We’re looking for a thoughtful leader to guide our design team through this meaningful transformation.You’ll manage a small team of talented designers to start, though we expect this pillar to grow given its importance to the business. This is a deeply cross-functional role where you’ll partner with product management, engineering, finance, research, data science, marketing, writing, and more to ensure we build the best possible experiences. We love working with hands-on highly motivated leaders with great taste in craft to help guide and shape the future of our design team and Figma’s business.This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.What you'll do at Figma:

Manage and hire a group of world-class designers of all experience levelsPartner with Product and Engineering leads in this area to improve team processes and execution and coach individual teams through setting roadmap and strategyDevelop a perspective on Figma’s approach to billing and successfully advocate for it across the organizationRun and improve team processes like critiques and sprints to cultivate a high performing design cultureWe’d love to hear from you if you have:

Pay Transparency DisclosureIf based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
