We're looking for a PR Manager, Product & Tech PR to support Spotify's effort in crafting compelling narratives around our innovative product offerings and integrations. In this role, you will develop and execute global product communications strategies that improve the user experience both on and off platform!

A successful candidate will have seasoned experience in the consumer tech space and the ability to translate the benefits of Spotify's products to consumers, media and influencers in a way that's digestible, memorable and fun. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that will include developing impactful communications strategies, proactive storytelling to drive deeper education and understanding of our products, and manage crisis communications issues as it relates to products. You should have a strong track record of storytelling via social, media relations and earned influencer relations. The ideal candidate is on the pulse of the tech landscape and has a deep understanding of the way technology has an impact on consumers and culture.

What You'll Do

Lead global product and partner communications strategies.Lead strategy and development in always-on, proactive storytelling around Spotify's hero features.Support major marketing initiatives around product features, generating press and influencer moments.Work directly with internal spokespeople and senior leadership on announcements, speaking opportunities, events and broader storytelling.Work closely with internal stakeholders across the business to develop product narratives and global strategies.Develop crisis communication strategies pertaining to the product and user experience.Manage external agency partners.Work alongside market communications leads to develop strategies and plans that can be implemented at a local level.Strong media, social and influencer relationshipsWho You Are

8+ years relevant communications experience in consumer PR, entertainment or technologyOrganized, meticulous and able to work on multiple projects while maintaining deadlinesStrong stakeholder management and leadership skillsStrong tech and consumer media and social editor relationshipsTech influencer relationships, and an understanding of the tech influencer landscapeProven track record of developing and implementing holistic communications strategies and plans at a global scaleExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong strategic and resourceful problem-solverExperience in crisis managementAbility to work in a fast-paced global industry and environmentTeam player who can work autonomously while thinking globally and executing locallyCreative thinker to assist in ideation of campaigns, product launches and always-on storytellingKnowledgeable about news and trends in the technology and audio spaceWhere You'll Be

This role will be based out of our London or New York office

The United States base range for this position is $115,356 to $164,794, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
