About the Job:Our Client. a family-owned business operating in Hawaii since the early 1980s, is seeking a results-oriented Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) to lead our talented team of representatives. The CSMO will drive and manage sales across all company profit centers to meet volume and gross profit objectives for Bulk Fuel, Cardlock, Lubricants, DEF, and Materials and Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:Build, manage, and develop relationships while leading the marketing efforts for all company branches.Create and execute sales plans, identifying products, pricing, placement, and promotion.Oversee brand management, digital marketing efforts, websites, social media, and customer portal.Lead the sales and marketing team in achieving outstanding customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:BS or BA in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent business experience.Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading a small team.Ability to lead a sales and marketing team in a competitive environment to deliver results.Knowledge of the commercial fuel and lubricants industry, with experience in petroleum wholesale marketing preferred.Strong growth orientation, tenacity, and team-focused sales experience.Thorough understanding of the sales process with excellent leadership skills and customer focus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sensitivity to local cultural knowledge.Strong emotional intelligence for leading teams and facilitating business growth.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced MS Excel, including Pivot tables, VLookup functions, IF functions, and macros.Experience with databases, CRM, and petroleum back-office systems is a plus.Demonstrated ability to take action and achieve results quickly and thoroughly, either personally or through delegation.Skilled in gaining agreement, conflict resolution, and negotiation.Active listening skills and a passion for understanding customer needs.Critical thinking, adaptability, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong organizational and delegation skills.Natural curiosity and growth mindset with an appetite for learning and expanding abilities.

Physical Demands:Ability to commute to Kahului, HI (required).Ability to relocate to Kahului, HI before starting work (required).Some travel required as needed.
