Hancock Seed Company now has an exciting opportunity for passionate and driven candidates to join their team as Customer Service and Sales Representatives.

This is a Monday - Friday opportunity, that will also require candidates to work on occasional Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.

The Role at a Glance:

As a Customer Service and Sales Representative you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, whilst also contributing fully to sales efforts for the business.

Responsibilities include:

Developing and growing a comprehensive understanding of Hancock Seed, their products and usage recommendations to make valuable suggestions to customers and drive salesResponding promptly to phone inquiries, providing accurate solutions and product information, as well as assisting with orders and issuesGreet walk-in customers, providing product recommendations and processing transactionsMonitor and manage email correspondence, responding timely to emails regarding inquiries and issues, whilst also generating new sales as the ‘go-to’ seed specialistsManaging leads and opportunities through the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication with potential customersProcessing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct product selection, pricing and shipping detailsHandling requests for refunds, returns and claims, coordinating with relevant departments and shipping carriers to resolve issues promptlyUtlizing the CRM system to promptly respond to customer inquiries and generate quotes

Requirements:

A full 4-year Bachelor’s degree is requiredProficient in the Microsoft Office SuiteAble to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly self-motivatedAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment
