Spot & Tango is an innovative pet health & wellness brand that delivers personalized meal plans on a subscription basis. Our recipes are developed by leading animal nutritionists, and are made with only real, human-grade ingredients... and nothing artificial! Who You Are

Spot & Tango is seeking a world-class

SVP of Marketing

to join our NY HQ team! In this role, you will report directly to our CEO, and manage a growing team of over 10 people. You are both analytical and creative. You have a proven track record of scaling $100M+ digitally-native and omni-channel brands. You are an expert full-funnel marketer with a strong understanding of the entire customer journey. You have extensive experience working in e-commerce, and possess a data-driven, “performance-first” mindset. You are intimately familiar with a variety of paid media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.) and have deep experience with A/B testing and attribution. You possess the unique combination of strategic vision and relentless execution necessary to drive exponential growth. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile to hit ambitious KPIs.

As the leader of the Marketing department, you will work closely with all cross-functional leaders in the business (CX, Finance, Operations, Product, etc.) This is a fantastic opportunity to drive an impact at a leading e-commerce startup.

Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, development and execution of the company’s marketing and advertising initiativesDevelop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with Spot & Tango’s business objectives, brand vision, and valuesLead efforts to acquire new customers through targeted marketing campaigns, partnerships, and initiativesMonitor marketing performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing effortsOversee digital marketing channels including social, organic, search, SEO, lifecycle (email / SMS), affiliate, OTT, OOH and linear TV to drive traffic and conversion.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify customer acquisition opportunitiesManage the full P&L for marketing, overseeing budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies to meet financial targets and enhance profitabilityBuild upon the company brand pillars to evolve the brand identity and voiceLead the company creative strategy, using the existing design system to support new product launches across various channelsSupport the launch of new products in new channels, inclusive of Amazon, Chewy, and brick & mortar

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher from a highly-competitive university. Preference for quantitative fields or marketing. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus!Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in digital marketing rolesExperience leading and developing large teamsAnalytical mindset with top-tier experience in performance marketingDeep understanding of omni-channel marketing and best practicesFamiliarity with OTT, OOH, radio, podcasts, and direct mail strongly preferredTop-notch written and verbal communicationIdeally has experience launching a D2C brand into brick & mortar and other channelsExcellent EQ and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teamsDog lovers a plus!
