As a Senior UX + UI Designer you will be expected to:Develop and implement the overall UX design strategy for Aeroflow’s digital products as aligned with business objectives.Influence the design direction of the organization through strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to build consensus at all levels.Effectively lead design workshops and presentations to align stakeholders and executive leadership on UX strategy, design concepts, design rationale and partner with product team prioritize features based on business KPIs.Own, define and evolve our design tool suite, design versioning, design systems, and web style guides.Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Unit Stakeholders, and UX Research to to champion user-centered design principles, define the design approach and needs based on feature KPIs, technical considerations, urgency, and functional requirements.Independently lead complex design projects from conception through launch by creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, information architecture and user journey flows adhering to product branding and technical requirements.Initiate, plan and review the product after the engineering implementation, proactively providing feedback and iterating with the engineering team for improvements.Initiate and plan UX research topics to answer pre and post launch design needs / questions and influence the UX research process by driving best practices.Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and communicate findings to stakeholders. Apply findings and user-centered frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean UX) to inform design solutions.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior UX/UI team members, thought leadership to the entire engineering department and organization as a whole.Reports to Director of Product DeliverySkills for Success – (Must Have)Advanced prototyping expertise in Figma and experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, Framer, Protopie).SME on Figma trends, technologies and best practices.A deep understanding of design systems, component libraries, and pattern creation.Track record of improving overall product usability and driving positive business outcomes through design.Experience designing animated and interactive elements for web.Ability to partner with the Product Team to ‘fail fast’, prioritize portions of a feature and release designs iteratively.Mastery designing in a mobile-first environment.SME on UX and UI trends, technologies and best practices.SME on working within an A/B and User Testing environment.Familiarity with Jira, Slack, Google Suite and GA4.Ability to manage time and work efficiently and effectively to produce deliverables in a fast- paced, multi-project environment.Required Qualifications6+ years experience as a UX designer for ecommerceAble to execute and return a short ‘take-home’ design challenge alongside a digital portfolio.2+ Professional referencesEmployee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policiesCompliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performanceYou might also haveExperience with user testing and observation tools: Maze, Noibu and OmniconvertExperience working within an Agile MethodologyFamiliarity with user-centered design frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean UX, Jobs-to-be-Done)Experience designing within the healthcare space.Experience designing for the Adobe Commerce platform.Experience designing for the Vue Storefront platform.What we look forWe’re looking for a Senior UX + UI Designer to be a key leader to champion user-centered design principles, deliver subject matter expertise and drive towards best-in-class user experience for all of our digital products.
