- Tampa, FLWe have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and passionate Corporate Communications Producer to join our dynamic team!What Will You Do?

The Corporate Communications Producer is responsible for supporting a favorable image for the Ashley family of companies and a positive and valuable relationship with employees, communities, business partners, government officials, media agents, and the public.The selected individual is responsible for creating, producing, and managing internal and external communications content to enhance the company’s brand, image, and engagement with stakeholders. This role involves developing strategic communication plans, producing multimedia content, and overseeing the execution of communication initiatives.The Corporate Communications Producer will have the ability to interface well with all internal (including every major department in the company) and external contacts (government, media, business, community, and consumers) - representing the Ashley family of companies and the Public Relations & Corporate Communications Department in a highly professional manner, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.Key Responsibilities

Collect, prepare, and disseminate information regarding community outreach and charitable efforts, major business developments (new retail, manufacturing, distribution initiatives, investments, openings, and expansions), and crisis responses for Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. (Ashley) and Ashley Furniture HomeStore to internal and external audiences.Content Creation:Develop and produce high-quality content, including press releases, corporate announcements, newsletters, and multimedia materials.Manage the production of video content, including scripting, shooting, and editing.Strategic Communication:Collaborate with the communications team to develop and execute strategic communication plans.Assist in crafting messaging for key corporate initiatives, including product launches and executive announcements.Media Relations:Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers.Coordinate media outreach, prepare press kits, and manage press events.Internal Communication:Create and manage internal communication channels, including intranet content, employee newsletters, and internal announcements.Foster effective communication between departments and leadership.Project Management:Oversee communication projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and align with corporate goals.Manage budgets and resources for communication projects.Analytics and Reporting:Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and content.Provide regular reports on communication metrics and suggest improvements.Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.Manage employee performance and assist employees in making improvements to their performance through coaching, mentoring, and administering performance reviews.Communicate company and departmental issues and goals and facilitate employee growth and development through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and company-offered learning opportunities.What Do You Need?

Bachelor Degree in Communications Arts, Public Relations, Business and/or Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience, Required.2 years’ experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications or Marketing related position, Required.Strong communication skills, including active listening and reading comprehension to accurately assess situations, and effective speaking and written skills to get messages across that have the desired effect.Effective time management and organization skills including the ability to manage one’s time on multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.Maintain confidentiality.Who Are We?
