Corporate Communications Producer - Tampa, FLWe have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and passionate Corporate Communications Producer to join our dynamic team!What Will You Do?The Corporate Communications Producer is responsible for supporting a favorable image for the Ashley family of companies and a positive and valuable relationship with employees, communities, business partners, government officials, media agents, and the public.The selected individual is responsible for creating, producing, and managing internal and external communications content to enhance the company’s brand, image, and engagement with stakeholders. This role involves developing strategic communication plans, producing multimedia content, and overseeing the execution of communication initiatives.The Corporate Communications Producer will have the ability to interface well with all internal (including every major department in the company) and external contacts (government, media, business, community, and consumers) - representing the Ashley family of companies and the Public Relations & Corporate Communications Department in a highly professional manner while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.Key Responsibilities:Collect, prepare, and disseminate information regarding community outreach and charitable efforts, major business developments, and crisis responses for Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. and Ashley Furniture HomeStore to internal and external audiences.Content Creation:Develop and produce high-quality content, including press releases, corporate announcements, newsletters, and multimedia materials.Manage the production of video content, including scripting, shooting, and editing.Strategic Communication:Collaborate with the communications team to develop and execute strategic communication plans.Assist in crafting messaging for key corporate initiatives, including product launches and executive announcements.Media Relations:Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers.Coordinate media outreach, prepare press kits, and manage press events.Internal Communication:Create and manage internal communication channels, including intranet content, employee newsletters, and internal announcements.Foster effective communication between departments and leadership.Project Management:Oversee communication projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and align with corporate goals.Manage budgets and resources for communication projects.Analytics and Reporting:Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and content.Provide regular reports on communication metrics and suggest improvements.Leadership:Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.Coordinate and manage the work of employees by directing team members to meet the area’s goals.Manage employee performance and assist in making improvements through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.Audit, maintain, and ensure employee time-keeping and absentee records are accurate.Communicate company and departmental issues and goals while facilitating employee growth and development.What Do You Need?Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience, Required.2 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Marketing, Required.Strong communication skills, including active listening and effective speaking and writing skills.Ability to use social perceptiveness, persuasion, critical thinking, and negotiation to solve complex problems.Ability to generate multiple ideas and develop creative approaches.Effective time management and organization skills.Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques.Ability to display empathy and patience with employees and external customers.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to respond professionally in difficult situations.Ability to perform under demands in a fast-paced environment.Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.Maintain confidentiality.Who Are We?We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits.We are a multi-billion-dollar company and the largest manufacturer of furniture in the world.Growth-Focused is one of our core values, dedicated to helping you grow through training and mentoring.Environmental efforts are a priority as we seek to recycle, reuse, and replenish every day.Millions of dollars are contributed annually to local and national charities.We are an equal opportunity employer and provide a drug-free working environment.
