The Visual Manager of Ecommerce is a creative stylist with experience in fashion ecommerce product imaging.

What You’ll Do:

Work closely with project manager to create a schedule that works well for both web and catalog photos shoots.

Work with Creative team and Merchants, review and resolve style, color and other product issues for web and grow key classifications through web imagery and styling.

Manage all seasonal reshoots with merchants and the creative team.

Develop all monthly Missy shot sheets accounting for required images needed to accurately capture the product including detail and fit.

Maintains, and distributes all versions of the Missy shot sheet to Merchandising and Creative according to schedule deadlines. Visual associate available to support if needed.

Ensure the Missy shot sheet is finalized with all details and shot requirements.

Work with in-house photo team and Creative and finalize all Missy web shot counts to help produce a smooth photo shoot.

Work with internal studio team to manage shot plan during the pre-pro meeting for the alignment on overall photo shoot shot plan to stay within budget.

Develop a plan for color correcting styles optimizing shot count.

Create all tags for Missy items to be shot each month and tag all samples with support from the visual associate working on that month.

Work closely with Digital Merchandising planning out monthly digital asset needs.

Layout all digital asset needs and circulate photos to Digital Merchandising, Creative and Visual Leadership.

Engage with catalog team to ensure consistency in styling between the channels.

Cast all models for monthly web shoots with visual associate assigned to that month.

Attend photo shoots, ensuring that the needs of the business are being met, fit is appropriately captured, and styling is on brand for optimum sales.

Merchants to review prefinal images from Web Thumbnail shoots and address any call outs with Creative and Retouching teams.

Image Review - review all images once, after the Merchant’s comments are made. Ensure all images accurately portray the product and are posted on the site. Work closely with Creative Art Directors through this process and the retouching team.

Know the market and keep informed of what competitors are doing which we could apply to Talbots. Make swipe boards to communicate your thoughts and ideas.

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of progressively more responsible positions in visual merchandising for a fashion retailer/website.

Knowledge of online capabilities and creative advances

Knowledge of catalog, web, and merchandising

Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word software

Required excellent communication and interpersonal skills Required the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Requires the ability to teach, train, and develop assistant position, outside vendors and CFT team
