We are looking for a Manager, Health Care Business (Aetna) Communications to work closely with our Executive Director, Health Care Business Communications to create robust, metric-driven, multi-channel strategic communications plans/campaigns to protect and advance the Health Care Business's reputation and culture. Partnering with key business leaders throughout CVS Health, Aetna and Enterprise Communications Centers of Excellence, you will be asked to provide strategic and tactical communications counsel that can help the business meet its objectives while taking a 360-degree view. You also will help build and drive execution of thought leadership and reputational strategies to support the Office of the President and Aetna's Health Equity strategy.

Your ability to collaborate with colleagues in the Aetna business - Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial - along with Aetna Marketing, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Human Resources and Centers of Excellence in Corporate Communications is critical to success in this position. You will utilize your experience with critical thinking across multiple disciplines to provide guidance and ensure strong execution of plans based in measurement applications that integrate business objectives.

Work with HCB/Aetna Business Unit (Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial/Exchanges) and its supporting Function communications, Retail, Pharmacy, Enterprise Comms, Office of the CSR and the Office of Chief Health Equity Officer to build and deploy strategic communications in support of the Enterprise growth agenda.Provide strategic internal communications support to the HCB/Aetna Office of the President for editorial calendar, outline and content creation for strategic business imperatives.Collaborate with Enterprise Social, HCB/Aetna Office of the President and social media vendor on social media content strategy and thought leadership presence. Serve as writer for Aetna-wide content (e.g., bylines).Proactive media pitching and reactive media inquiries that pertain to HCB. Write press releases.Engage HCB lines of business to build customer testimonials into communications initiatives. Manage video production vendor for member testimonial videos.Develop and execute robust, "always on" content and storytelling strategies to advance business priorities.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 126,600Required Qualifications* Minimum 5+ years relevant communications experience required; subject matter expertise in health care or related consumer industry required.* Deep experience in serving as a strategic counselor to key executives and in building and leading high-performance communications teams.* Willingness to travel, as needed, and in support of business needs.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
