Corporate Communications Specialist

The LG Energy Solution-Honda joint venture has partnered with Rose International for Direct hire recruiting services for this role. As an HR Communications Specialist (Corporate Communications Specialist), you will be responsible for both internal and external communications for the company.

Responsibilities:

Identify, plan, gain consensus, and execute both internal and external communications; written, verbal, or visual

Build, develop and maintain relationships with internal, local and regional business partners

Lead business plan projects and identify areas for continuous business improvements

Grow knowledge of the business operations and incorporate into messaging, processes, projects.

Partner with other Human Resources members to identify efficiencies and best practices for effective communications and programs

Ensure the voice of associates and community are heard and considered in work products

Identify, plan, and attend external events as appropriate

Serve on internal project teams and committees

Gather, analyze, summarize and recommend ways to optimize communications to associates

Oversee internal communication platforms and systems, providing engaging and regular content

Maintain awareness of communications best practices and compliance requirements

Education/Experience:

4-6+ years preparing and/or delivering communications to large audiences

Bachelor’s degree in a communications, journalism, human resources, or related area

Knowledge/Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Excellent writing skills

Ability to develop clear, concise, effective communications, even with short notice

Experience developing visual presentations

Experience with speech writing

Familiarity with photography

Familiarity with web design and/or effective web layouts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations

Flexibility to work adjusted shifts

Additional Requirements:

This role requires up to 10% of travel (domestic)
