About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Chief Marketing and Business Development Executive (CMBDO) to join our national team at a leading law firm. In this crucial leadership role, you will drive strategic marketing and business development initiatives that align with our firm’s goals. We are looking for a visionary leader with a strong national presence, who can elevate our brand, enhance client engagement, and ensure our continued success in a competitive market.
Your responsibilities will include managing and leading the Marketing and Business Development (MBD) team and collaborating with firm leadership on strategic planning to develop and implement clear marketing and business development strategies. Ideally, you will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in professional services and/or legal marketing, demonstrating a proven track record of leading teams and translating vision into actionable results.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the firm’s digital marketing strategy, brand positioning, and client engagement goals, as well as managing the marketing budget and vendor relationships. You will also drive the implementation of our strategic MBD plan, lead client retention and growth strategies, and foster collaboration with various departments to support client growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong executive presence, skills in managing ambiguity, and a robust work ethic. Some travel may be required, but it will be less than 10%. A Bachelor's degree is required. We value work-life balance and offer hybrid work arrangements.
