The CMBDO will be a key leader in the firm, responsible for driving the strategic marketing and business development initiatives that align with the company's goals. This role demands a visionary with a strong national presence, capable of elevating the firm's brand, enhancing client engagement, and ensuring continued success in a competitive market. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the firm's growth, collaborating with leadership on strategic planning, and leading a high-performing MBD team. Responsibilities include managing the marketing budget, overseeing vendor relationships, and providing clear leadership to establish credibility with all stakeholders. Applicants for the CMBDO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in professional services and/or legal marketing, with a proven track record of leading MBD teams and translating vision into action. The role requires a leader with strong executive presence, a deep understanding of marketplace trends, and the ability to implement innovative solutions. The CMBDO will be tasked with driving the firm's MBD plan, leading client retention and growth strategies, and fostering collaboration across the organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, and the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be adept at handling ambiguity, and be willing to travel as needed.
