Our initial offering is a virtual intensive outpatient program, which places peers with similar mental health experiences and goals into customized virtual groups. Our team of masters-level clinicians lead groups multiple times per week to deliver a higher level of care.Our goal is to help young people and families heal together. As a member of the Marketing team, the Content Marketing Associate will play an integral role in how we connect to and engage with the audiences of Charlie Health. The Content Marketing Associate will be responsible for creating and optimizing content across Charlie Health’s marketing channels to support our goals of brand awareness, engagement, relatability, and client admissions and attendance. As an early member of the content team, the Content Marketing Associate will be given a high level of autonomy and responsibility to help define the future of content at Charlie Health and will be expected to apply a high level of initiative and accountability in their contribution to Charlie Health’s success.At Charlie Health, our team is composed of passionate, forward-thinking professionals eager to take on the challenge of the mental health crisis and play a formative role in providing life-saving solutions. Research, ideate, and generate written content for our website, blog, PR, and social media platformsPartner with freelance writers and designers and assign, review, and edit website content across mediumsProject manage internal content requests, reviewing and executing content deliverables and assigning out to relevant team members where appropriateCopy edit marketing materials across all channels both internally and externallyWork cross-functionally with our Clinical and Research teams to ensure our content is medically sound and supports our research and outcomes initiativesEvaluate results of our content marketing program and track key KPIs such as web traffic and time on pageUtilize tools such as SEO optimization tools and AI tools to generate and evaluate content where appropriateStay up to date on industry news, medical research, and competitive trends to inform the strategic planRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Marketing, or related field2-6 years of experience in content marketing, with proven success in creating and distributing written and/or multimedia contentLocated in NYC and actively working in content marketingProven project management skills with experience generating content end-to-endStrong writing and editing skillsAbility to work well under pressure, and to respond flexibly and resourcefully to workload fluctuations, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills. Experience creating relationships and processes to solicit cross-functional input and expertise for use in content marketing (e.g. experts, freelancers, influencers, ghost-written content)Experience inputting and editing content into a CMS is preferredWorking knowledge of mental health is desiredGeneral SEO knowledge is a plusWork authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiencyPerks

Whether it be through a cooking class, a magic show, a comedy act, or a virtual talent competition, we want to uplift our patients and teammates, together.Additional InformationThe expected base pay for this role will be between $75,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.So—what do you think?
