Essential Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement an overall marketing, sales, and R&D strategy for company products that clearly defines the objectives, goals, schedules, and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities.
Provide support in the area of marketing strategy and management; develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve goals.
Develop strategies and tactics for increasing market share within existing accounts and markets, while expanding into new selected verticals.
Develop and implement annual business plans and manage to monthly, quarterly, and annual expense and revenue budgets.
Provide leadership, direction, and management to the marketing, R&D, and sales team in a manner that ensures exceptional service to all stakeholders and that produces market differentiation and competitive advantage.
Establish clear sales metrics and benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus; create a companywide marketing reporting function that can track, measure, and analyze performance.
Collaborate with strategic partners and clients to research market needs and identify possible new product solutions.
Establish and maintain a strong network of relationships within the industry sales and marketing budget and action plan.
Foster new research initiatives while delegating regulatory responsibility to appropriate team members.
Oversee partnerships with industry, government, and external partner institutions, nationally and internationally.
Develop and execute innovation and research roadmaps.
Develop business cases for implementing new technologies.
Drive improvements in the conceptualization of ideas to attract new markets such as driving technical innovations to improve products, processes, or packaging.
Evaluate benefits, trade-offs, and impact of new technologies.
Evaluate outcomes of new products and processes to deliver improved business results.
Formulate innovation initiatives aligned to the organization's vision, mission, and values.
Innovate organizational quality policies, food safety, and regulatory requirements and manufacturing of new products.
Lead innovation in new technologies for product innovation and production processes.
Oversee modeling and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products.
Set direction for enhancing business competitiveness in the development of new products.

Required Skills
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Proficient in bakery ingredient functionality and formulations for breads and sweet goods.
Expert knowledge in baking a wide range of breads and sweet goods in lab and industrial production lines.
Well-versed in working knowledge of all types of equipment in bake lab and production operations.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with successfully building transformational external partnerships to accelerate the development of new innovation opportunities from dig to seed to grow.
Results-driven with leadership focus on cross-functional alignment and synergistic strategies to maximize efficiencies and acceleration to market.
History of success leading and executing complex transformation projects in innovation and business insights.
Deep technical expertise in one or more areas such as Product Research/Consumer Insights, Culinary, Packaging.
Demonstrated strong people leadership skills and success championing culture change (Innovation, Consumer-centric, etc.).
Strong people skills and experience working within an agile and matrixed Enterprise.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field. Graduate degree preferred.
15+ years of progressive success.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
May be in a warehouse environment at times.
Domestic and/or International Travel 30%.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
