The position involves developing, executing, and analyzing venue-based marketing and event strategies that align with the organization's objectives and financial goals. The Director of Restaurant Marketing will also manage marketing partnerships, promotional activities, advertising, social media, and public relations coordination. Additionally, this role involves the execution of on-site events and programs along with identifying creative opportunities to increase customer spending and attract new sources of business for each brand.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Serve as a liaison between management teams, restaurant teams, and the corporate office.Collaborate with restaurant management teams to identify areas of need and opportunity and ensure fulfillment and execution of all marketing initiatives.Develop and communicate marketing strategy and objectives to the VP of Marketing, restaurant management, and team members.Partner with operations to plan and execute sales-building activities that will increase customer count, check average, and outside sales.Effectively deploy web, social media, email, collateral, merchandise, and other communications with corporate support.Establish and build relationships within the community and with the restaurant's high-end, luxury-based target market.Identify and capitalize on strategic partners that complement the restaurant brands.Plan and execute marketing events in coordination with the restaurants.Collect and analyze data to improve marketing programs.Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned.EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in hospitality and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related fieldMinimum of five to seven (5-7) years of restaurant / hospitality-based venue marketing management experience with proven record of financial and creative marketing programming successProficient in Windows MS Office, WordPress, Facebook Business Manager, Google, and all social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google My Business, YouTube, LinkedIn, and PinterestProficient with budget creation and implementationSKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE
