Overview
You’ll be full of fresh ideas to help support and shape the future of the brand – through innovative strategies and brand initiatives (or campaigns). You’ll ensure our brand identity is promoted, protected and presented correctly and that we have a full calendar of activity.
You’ll work with the Brand & Content Manager to ensure the overall content plan is created, scheduled, and delivered within agreed timelines.

Principal accountabilities
This supportive role within our Marketing & Communications team is key in helping us engage with our customers on a day-to-day basis in the form of content. You’ll help to drive consistency and support in managing the use of logos, fonts, colour palette, tone of voice, language, and style of messaging/narrative.
You’ll be supporting the Brand & Content Manager in bringing to life the brand strategy, delivering on key innovations, creative ideas and establishing best practices.
As our Brand and Content Executive, you’ll be supporting and co-ordinating the planning, scripting, and delivery of content. The ideal candidate will demonstrate early signs of having an eye for design, some technical abilities to bring ideas to life and copywriting skills to stand-out and be noticed.
You’ll be supporting on our content production, working with our Campaigns team to ensure our agency partners are following our brand guidelines, guidance and regulation.
Typically, you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting the management of our brand assets, brand identity and strategy. Working with the Brand & Content Manager to manage Affinity Water’s brand assets, identity, tone of voice, messaging styles, and design guidelines ensuring all content is on brand and regulatory compliant.
Organising and attending brand photoshoots.
Getting creative by developing content for publishing including, but not limited to infographics, podcasts, videos, social content, and webinars as well as creating written content for marketing channels (webpages, blog articles, email, newsletters).
Ensuring weekly content approval sessions are scheduled.
Collaborating across functions to support the delivery of an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet overall business objectives.
Helping to create engaging and compelling content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand voice, including engaging copy, appealing visuals, and persuasive calls to action.
Promoting equality and diversity by ensuring that all content considers accessibility and representation of the diverse range of people.
Tracking and monitoring performance of published content, providing internal performance reports and recommendations for change.
Helping to grow the brand’s affiliations and partnerships. Supporting at company events when required.
Maintaining AW brand, TOV and digital style guidelines.
Being part of our fast-fire reactive crisis comms team on standby out of hours, working on a rota basis.
Experience and skills required
+2 years brand management experience.
1+ years’ experience in crafting tone of voice, brand guidelines and managing content calendars.
Previous content marketing experience with solid social media understanding.
Good working knowledge of video production and editing techniques.
Understanding and experience of developing and delivering on brand strategies.
Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders with focus on delivery.

Salary: £30-32,000 dependent on skills and experience
