Overview
As the Graphic Designer, you will be joining a team of marketing professionals responsible for the successful promotion of Sun Hill Properties Inc.’s portfolio of hotels. The Marketing Department develops, implements, and executes strategic marketing plans to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
The marketing department provides guidance and direction for all areas of the hotel, assisting executives in delivering profitability and results. This candidate will play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company’s strategic goals. This position reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing to ensure that all promotions and projects align with the overall marketing of the hotels. This is a hybrid position, with the ability to work remotely.
Examples Of Duties
- Ensure the effective and efficient execution of the Hotel marketing plans.- Manage all projects by timely planning and communicating.- Focus on graphic design, assisting with website development, and producing all print and digital collateral for Sun Hill Properties Inc. portfolio of hotels.- Assist with social media image, including regular, creative, and engaging posts to increase fans and feedback scores for each channel.- Identify public relation opportunities for additional exposure for all areas of the hotel.- Support and execute all Brand Promotions.- Manage relationships with E-Commerce to promote our hotel as recommended by Hilton and Marriott.- Maintain hotel’s photo file and ensure that only approved photos are available and used.- Update hotel photography as needed and be available to photograph events contributing to marketing.- Participate in and coordinate hotels' formal photo shoots.- Review and maintain current information on brand site and all online travel sites.- Update all hotel databases, including developing surveys and conducting promotions.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Skilled in graphic design software and website design.- Knowledge of the hotel and events industry, current trends, and economic factors.- Understanding of hotel structure and department interactions.- Ability to act independently and accomplish goals timely.- Leadership qualities to motivate a team to support goals.- Creativity to develop engaging content for promotions and guest communication.- Above-average computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Photoshop or similar Graphics Program, Illustrator, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.- Ability to deal with internal and external customers positively and effectively problem solve.- Organized with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or combination of experience and education.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years hospitality or customer service experience.

Work Area
Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
