JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the person in this role will be the primary communication liaison for all Presentation Alumnae, keeping them informed and engaged with our school community. This individual will be responsible for implementing innovative strategies to enhance Alumnae engagement, ensuring that our Alumnae remain connected and active participants in the Presentation network.
Additionally, this position will manage our social media platforms-Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn-by creating timely, engaging content tailored to each channel. Working closely with the Director and collaborating with the advancement team, this person will play a crucial role in driving the school's strategic communications plan, aligning messaging with the school's goals and mission while maintaining a strong online presence and Alumnae experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and nurture strong Alumnae relations by regularly requesting life updates, celebrating milestones by sending baby onesies, and creating both digital and physical spaces for Alumnae to connect.Manage and execute the strategy and content on multiple social media accountsCover school events as assigned to create and post original digital content and messagingAssist in the production of key publications, including the annual magazine, advancement materials, and campaignsAssist in writing, designing, publishing, and creating content for the Alumnae newslettersCoordinate Marketing & Communications operationsServe as a digital brand ambassador and steward cohesive brand presence across all digital platformsOther duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or relatedMinimum of three to five years of experience in a similar role preferredCommitment to the mission and educational philosophy of Presentation High School including a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under strict deadlinesPhotography, video editing, and writing experience a plusPassion and expertise around social media platformsExperience using e-newsletter platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact)Experience with Canva or graphic design a plusAvailable and willing to work occasional after-hour eventsKnowledge of CMS website platforms and use of basic HTML a plusPhysical Demands
