Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.Our high-end interior design firm in Boulder, CO is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with strong AutoCAD and project management skills to support our clients from concept through completion. Our firm is full-service and heavily involved with all aspects of the design to build process. We handle a range of projects including luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial.
This is a busy and involved position. We need someone who is willing to put in long hours when needed to meet deadlines, and someone who thrives under pressure. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong passion for design and a willingness to go above and beyond for our clients!
This is NOT a remote position—We have a collaborative environment and work together in the office.
Our ideal interior designer candidate will have the following:
A degree in interior design or architecture
Extremely strong AutoCAD skills
Experience/knowledge of Revit (BIM) software is a plus
Strong Excel skills
3-8 years of experience working in residential or commercial design
Excellent communication skills and willing to listen/take notes
Self-driven work ethic and the ability to follow through with pending items, including anticipating questions and creating solutions
Strong organizational skills- including efficiency
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
Discretion with confidential client and business information
MUST have own laptop and vehicle
MUST be willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% travel may be required)
MUST love dogs and be comfortable working in a dog-friendly office
Basic responsibilities of the senior interior designer will include:
Handling general design responsibilities like creating boards, drawings, FFE’s, etc.
Some general office operations, including phones, filing, and running errands as needed
Managing client budgets and all ordering (specifications, purchase orders, shipping, etc.)
Serving as primary liaison with vendors & sub-contractors
Managing and having thorough knowledge of all items within client files like specifications, meeting notes, etc.
Compensation for this opportunity is based on relevant work experience: $65,000-$80,000/year to start with regular opportunities for bonuses and raises dependent on performance.
