Join our dynamic Film Office team and help bring productions to life across the state!We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated professional to support our mission of making North Carolina a premier hub for film, television, and commercial productions. This role is at the heart of the action-connecting with filmmakers, scouting breathtaking locations, and ensuring every production experiences the best of what our state has to offer.Location: Hybrid (Remote Mondays & Fridays, Onsite Tuesdays-Thursdays)What You'll Do:Be the Go-To Resource - Assist international, national, and local production companies by providing key information about filmmaking in North Carolina.Showcase Our State - Build and maintain strong relationships with film studios, producers, and industry professionals while promoting North Carolina's diverse filming assets.Scout Stunning Locations - Travel throughout the state to photograph and catalog prime filming locations for producers and scouts.Support Film Crews on the Ground - Offer hands-on assistance to visiting film crews, ensuring smooth operations during production.Enhance Our Industry Presence - Help develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns (print, online, and promotional) that put North Carolina on the map for filmmakers.Manage Key Industry Databases - Oversee North Carolina's online directory, highlighting the state's crew base and production infrastructure while maintaining accurate Salesforce records.Travel & Explore - Be ready to hit the road frequently to represent North Carolina's film industry and support production efforts statewide.What We're Looking For:Strong knowledge of North Carolina's geography, communities, and film industry potentialExceptional communication and organizational skillsComfort with technology and database management (Salesforce experience a plus!)A passion for film, marketing, and/or public relationsA college degree inFilm, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred)If you love the film industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to play a key role in bringing productions to North Carolina, we want to hear from you!RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum 2 years professional work experience required. KEY COMPETENCIESUse sound judgement to make good decisions based on available information.
