We are seeking a Senior Designer for our Raleigh, NC studio. The Senior Designer will lead all design phases for interiors projects, establish the vision, lead the team, and have extensive client interaction. Responsibilities include: Developing overall design concepts for projects. Directing staff to complete design and technical drawings. Reviewing designs and drawings of junior staff. Ensuring engineering drawings comply with design solutions. Collaborating with technical staff to resolve drawing inconsistencies. Researching and selecting fixtures and finishes. Obtaining client approval and integrating feedback into designs. Producing and finalizing space plans. Detailing and finalizing project details. Developing and delivering design and furniture packages. Reviewing and producing final cost estimates. Supporting field surveys when necessary. Managing the design budget and communicating variances. Managing and providing feedback to other designers. Conducting client interviews to determine space needs. Providing ongoing information to clients on design specifications, with proficiency in Affinity program tools. Qualifications: Graduate of architecture or design school; equivalent experience may be considered. 6+ years of experience in corporate interior design projects. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, furnishings, and finishes. Proficiency in furniture layout, sketching, rendering, and interior detailing. Knowledge of construction documents, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements. Experience with contract administration. Intermediate MS Office skills, advanced Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills. Affinity Program skills or equivalent. Excellent communication, presentation, and graphic skills.
