Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth market analysis and research to establish audience insights and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.Engage with educational leaders, teachers and students to understand their challenges and advocate for solutions that support both teaching and learning.Influence product vision and strategy for solutions that meet the evolving needs of institutions and educators in a rapidly changing educational landscape.Develop and lead marketing strategies that position our products and focus on durable differentiation.Serve as the subject matter expert for our Modern Work product portfolio centered on our M365 for Educations product line.Your emphasis will be on experiences that help school accelerate learning for all students.Prioritize and document strategies that drive the adoption of Microsoft’s modern work solutions in educational settings, grow the business, and align with our mission to prepare students for the workforce of tomorrow.Create Messaging and Positioning Frameworks (MPFs), content, sales enablement and other materials to help scale our efforts across marketing and sales channels and partners.Lead and support cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.Embody our culture and values.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experience.Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
Experience in product marketing and prior experience with education technology.Demonstrated ability to synthesize audience insights, and develop positioning, value propositions, and messaging.Cross functional leadership experience, with the ability to create clarity, align shared priorities, and influence virtual teams to deliver successful outcomes.Communication skills, with the ability to simply articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence at the senior leadership level.Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, making informed decisions based on data and common principles to ensure the success of the project or team.A passion for education and a commitment to Microsoft’s mission of empowering every student, educator and institution.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
