Sales and Business Development:Proactively solicit and secure new business through a consultative sales approach, fostering long-term client relationships.Strategically leverage industry partnerships to enhance event design and production.Consistently maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and surpass revenue targets.Ensure accurate tracking of sales opportunities within our CRMInside & outside sales functionsActively creating and pursuing new opportunities for the organizationVenue relationship managementPhone & in-person consultationsResponding to customer inquiries, developing quotes and proposalsTrade show/Exhibit StaffingSales follow-upAssistance in general company marketing effortsRepresent company and pursue new leads at networking functions
Event & Office ProceduresParticipation in companywide efforts to streamline efforts and implement proceduresLearn and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and actively participate in new initiatives.Active participation in furthering company goals and company reputation
Event OperationsLead key event installationsEnsure customer receives the event that they had envisioned.Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Additional duties and educational opportunities, as assigned.Qualifications:Experience: 3+ years of outside sales experience in events planning/production, catering services, or hotel sales/catering.Sales Success: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and year-over-year growth.CRM Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.Hunter Mentality: Strong initiative and understanding of how to acquire new clients within target markets.Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate and close deals across various budget levels.
Experience & Skills:Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to prioritize client success and build lasting relationships.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences.Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Tech Proficiency: Skilled in using software for word processing, email, internet research, and data management.Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
