This is a hybrid role. Functions in a technical specialist/entry level supervisory capacity. In a technical design role, solves difficult technical problems, as well as provides consultation and training. In addition to design and production responsibilities, directs efforts of other engineering technician professionals as required.Key Responsibilities
Lead design teams in developing utility-scale solar projects (50-500MW+).Coordinate deliverables with other groups to minimize interference or errors.Collaborate with civil engineers, technicians, project coordinators, project managers, and support staff to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details for Utility Scale Solar PV systems.Participate in multi-discipline teams, including design engineers and system studies engineers, with support from Engineering Technicians.Support early-stage project development with conceptual designs and material take-offs.Develop initial system conceptual ideas into fully optimized EPC designs.Contribute to the continual development of internal solar engineering standards, tool sets, and work processes.Convert field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces suitable for producing site plans and construction drawings.Utilize Excel spreadsheets, commercial, and proprietary engineering software to design Solar PV systems.Minimum Qualifications

In accordance with local law, the following hourly compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $49.53 - $82.58.Nearest Major Market:
