Position Summary:
The Production Designer, under the direction of the Design Supervisor, is responsible for assisting in the design and production of all corporate communication products and components to help effectively market the company and appropriate affiliates within project deadlines and budget. Incumbents will assist in design execution, file management of in-house design and provide quality control on materials provided from outside sources under the review and approval of the Design Supervisor and Sr. VP of Marketing. Graphic Designer must be able to work within the form and style restrictions of a brand while maintaining a fresh, strong and dynamic aesthetic that clearly communicates marketing objectives. This position will be involved with production work 75 -80% of the time, with approximately 20 - 25% of time spent on new or creative work. Job responsibilities may also include assistance with electronic production, web , social media and other marketing . In this remote role, you will need your own Adobe software (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, AfterEffects), Microsoft Suite, and own Mac or PC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for contributing to the timely and cost-efficient production of marketing-related sales tools, including but not limited to: retention and acquisition pieces, flyers, collateral, newsletters, signage, postcards, packaging, interactive design, email campaigns and other related projects.Under supervision of Design Supervisor and Sr. VP of Marketing, incumbent will work on various projects or portions of projects, and will make appropriate and necessary changes and/or corrections in a timely fashion.Manage external/internal communications to provide design solutions. Assist in eliciting from internal Project Managers all information necessary to complete projects on time and within budget.Develop and maintain organized computer folders and files for image and document assets. Collect files for output/create print ready PDF’s or digital files according to specs and upload to our online portal on time.Organizational Responsibilities:

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Design or Marketing preferred.3-5 years’ experience as a graphic designer with professional experience in a fast moving, goal-oriented culture, where a keen understanding of print production was required.In depth MAC and/or PC experience.Expert using latest Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and setting up files for print and digital, converting and formatting files and print production.Highly developed skills in core publishing and design programs with knowledge of the overall design process from concept development to final print production including editing and file management skills.Must be able to efficiently work with production layout schematics and desktop publishing of direct mail pieces.Must be self-starting and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be creative, organized, and able to multi-task and be a team.Must work successfully within tight time constraints and budgetary limitations.Must be able to work overtime as needed.
