This position is responsible for the setup and operation of basic to large-scale audiovisual systems.

Essential Functions

• Installation and de-installation of AV products.
• Configuration of endpoints and infrastructure.
• Preparation of room audits to ensure technology functions optimally.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and rooms.
• Identify defective or failed equipment and provide solutions.
• Complete Post Installation Assessments.
• Perform on-site User Acceptance testing.
• Install software upgrades.
• Communicate with management regarding assignments.
• Report and update project progress.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Design, plan, and install AV systems.
• Oversee AV installation projects and provide updates.
• Inventory AV devices and materials.
• Test and verify functionality of installed AV systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on AV systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• No or limited experience required.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Understanding of safety procedures.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Experience in similar roles is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to terminate and test category and fiber optic cables.
• Basic knowledge of low voltage principles.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Effective communication with clients and team members.
• Willingness to mentor junior technicians.

Physical Demands

Majority of time spent standing, kneeling, using hands, reaching. Lifting items 25-50 lbs frequently, over 50 lbs occasionally. Accommodations available for disabilities.

Work Environment

Work near heavy machinery, tools, and hardware. May involve driving, exposure to weather conditions.
