Reporting directly to the AVP of Marketing, the Graphic Designer supports the execution of the marketing, communications and outreach design needs for the department as well as the graphic requests of internal constituents.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:
- Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
- Marketing and Advertising:
- Works closely with the AVP of Marketing and Asst. Director of Marketing to design and produce a broad range of marketing and advertising assets for various needs including advertising, digital, publications, direct mail/collateral and signage.
- Assists in the resizing, reformatting and deployment of in-house developed campaigns or advertising campaign resizes including but not limited to: print, OOH, digital, direct mail etc.
- Coordinates closely with the Asst. Director of Marketing and the Asst. Director of Digital Marketing on digital advertising media and e-newsletters, ensuring that all branding programs are aligned.
- Liaisons with outside departments to design and produce branded marketing materials for various programs and initiatives.
- Brand Management:
- Ensures that all collateral and printed materials meet brand standards and adhere to the brand guidelines.
- Along with AVP of Marketing & Asst. Director of Marketing, manage temporary signage and patient communications requests, working with respective teams within Hospital on execution; i.e. project management or front desk
- Act as presentation expert, updating constituent presentations to be within brand look/feel as well as managing revisions/iterations of internal team's presentations.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in design or other related positions required; course work preferred in graphic design, print production, visual arts or related field.
- At least five years' experience in a graphic design role; preferably in marketing or advertising.
- Portfolio and experience that demonstrates clear knowledge of print and digital production and design.
- Skilled in production process and software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint.
