Position Summary
Student worker at Torreyson Library needed for various tasks in the varied departments. Student will work 15 to 20 hours per week. Federal Work Study only. There is a possibility that this position will continue through the summer.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job duties and responsibilities will be determined by the department student worker is assigned to. Some of these duties may include:
- Provide assistance with clerical duties
- Shelve items
- Assist patrons as needed with computer or printer questions
- Maintain confidentiality of patron information
- Answer patron questions regarding library items, directions, etc.
- Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service to all patrons
- Other duties as assigned
