Broadway Babies and Kids - Studio Manager
Status: Non-Exempt | Part Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dance Studio Manager to lead our vibrant dance studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the success of the studio, managing a team of dedicated dance instructors, and fostering a positive and thriving environment for both staff and students. The Dance Studio Manager will be instrumental in driving business growth, managing financial aspects, and maintaining a high standard of excellence in all aspects of the studio's operations.
Job Location:
Onsite at assigned studio location.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of dance instructors and Student Success Advisors.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creativity, professional development, and teamwork.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the overall success of the studio, ensuring all activities align with the studio's mission and objectives.
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes to enhance studio productivity and effectiveness.
- Manage payroll and human resources functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including profit and loss statements, to ensure the studio's financial health.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Customer Relations:
- Maintain excellent relationships with students, parents, and the community to enhance the studio's reputation and foster a positive studio culture.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain students.
- Participate in community events to promote the studio and engage with potential students.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years of previous experience as a store manager, school manager, theater company manager or in a similar leadership role is required.
- Proven track record of success in managing teams and achieving business objectives.
- Previous experience as a professional performing artist preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, arts administration, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management and experience with payroll systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Google Suitel and other relevant software.
