Job Description
The purpose of the Manager, Ticketing & Event Marketing position is to oversee the ticketing operations for the College and its clients and provide marketing support for events, facility rental sales on campus, and other marketing needs of the department. This is accomplished by assisting the Director in developing and executing marketing plans for shows, facility rental promotions and other needs of the department in conjunction with HCC's Communications Department; adhering to the brand identity set forth by HCC's Communications Department; and ensuring top-notch, smooth, and efficient daily ticketing operations and box office functions for all ticketed events. This position also supports the department with special projects and front of house coverage during events.

Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree required
Required Experience
Minimum one year experience in the following:
* Marketing &/or ticketing operations.* Supervisory experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Creation & execution of marketing plans* Operating a ticketing sales platform (University Tickets is our current platform)* Social Media Management Experience* Understanding the importance of excellent customer service & communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (such as InDesign), Microsoft Publisher, or other graphic design software.
Hours per Week 40 - 100% General Weekly Work Schedule
In addition to regular office hours, this position works evenings and weekends based on the show and event schedule.
