Overview of Position

This role reports to the Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Life Insurance and is responsible for managing marketing, sales enablement and business development programs across the Life Insurance line of business with a special focus on supporting the unique needs of our Life Distribution channels. The Marketing Director's responsibilities include strategy, content & messaging, copywriting, targeted digital advertising & social media campaigns and promotions for Corebridge's broad suite of Life Insurance products. Additionally, the role is responsible for developing & executing channel-specific recruiting and growth programs, key focus firm marketing plans and digital life insurance sales tools, as well as the marketing of sales incentive programs and launching strategic initiatives to help differentiate Corebridge in the market.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop & deploy channel focused marketing plans: Support sales & strategic imperatives with product positioning, promotions, sales strategies, & business development programs:Work with product management team to create/write/support development of marketing materials and overall messaging/positioning for select product(s) and underwriting programsCreate both financial professional and consumer marketing collateral for multi-layered product launches and concept campaignsContinually evolve new & established Focus Firm programs that target specific audiences and objectives to support channel sales goalsData driven marketing: Create and execute differentiated, interactive digital content, advertising & tool delivery that engage targets and support growth/retentionReview quantifiable results to ensure the fine tuning and optimization of programsInterface with internal and external clients: train partners on new marketing programs and how to best leverage them to grow businessTravel to and participate in client and company meetings as neededCollaborate across business groups to deploy marketing programs: digital team, product development, distribution teams, legal and complianceWork with data and analytics to create a measurable program for all Acquisition strategy metrics. Entrepreneurial spirit.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work across diverse sales channels, business functions and teams that are geographically dispersedBachelor's degree in Marketing or related life/work experience. Master's degree is a plus.7+ years life insurance industry preferred.Ability to write and create content (B2B/B2C educational and sales enablement) across media platforms (including social, web, email, direct mail, etc)Knowledge of multiple insurance distribution channels, as well as insurance business processes is preferred.Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and strategies, brand, product & messaging to various target audiences.Experience building brand awareness and support internally and externallyWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, web platforms, and other enabling tools used in marketing.What our employees like most about working for Corebridge Financial Life & Retirement
