TechTarget is seeking well-qualified candidates for the position of Product Marketing Manager, Partner Marketing Services as part of its growing Product Marketing team. Our Partner Marketing Services business is a strategic growth driver for the company, and our vibrant Partner Marketing VisionariesTM (PMV) community helps Partner Marketers in the technology industry learn best practices, share their expertise, connect with their peers, and grow their careers. We’re looking for an experienced Partner Marketing professional who is energized by the opportunity to expand and engage the PMV community while driving revenue growth for our services for Partner Marketing strategy, content, and demand.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Partner Marketing and has hands-on experience in a Partner or Alliance Marketing role at a B2B technology company. You are excited to stay on top of the latest trends and best practices in technology Partner Marketing, create thought leadership content that helps Partner Marketers up-level their skills and engage and expand the PMV Community. You are capable of synthesizing client needs, market trends, competitive intelligence, and other inputs to guide the product portfolio and go-to-market strategy for our Partner Marketing Services business. You bring the skills required to craft differentiated positioning/messaging and effectively tell our Partner Marketing story in client-facing content deliverables, sales enablement tools/training, and other formats. You are collaborative, diplomatic, detail-oriented, and focused on activities that accelerate business growth.

What You Will Do

Community Management: Facilitate, engage, and grow TechTarget’s Partner Marketing Visionaries Community. Moderate and contribute to our thriving LinkedIn Group, manage our popular Panel Discussion Series, coordinate our Interactive Roundtable Series, organize our annual PMV Summit virtual event, support our PMV Live in-person events, and identify new ways to bring value to the community.Content Development: Prioritize and deliver against a content roadmap that aligns with the topics and trends that are most important to technology Partner Marketers as well as prospect needs during each stage of the buyer’s journey. In collaboration with Corporate Marketing, prioritize, author, and edit new and derivative thought leadership content in a variety of formats (e-books, blog posts, videos, webinars, infographics, etc.). Create and update product-related assets like web content, product briefs, and case studies. Strong writing skills are essential.Demand Generation: Partner with Corporate Marketing to guide the campaign strategy for the Partner Marketing Services portfolio with a focus on creating awareness, generating top-of-funnel leads, and converting initial interest into sales pipeline.Messaging and Positioning: Drive positioning efforts for the Partner Marketing Services portfolio and ensure our messaging effectively differentiates us from competitive alternatives. Ensure that Partner Marketing Services messaging is consistently incorporated into marketing content, sales assets, and other relevant materials.Sales Training and Enablement: Arm Sales with the knowledge they need to effectively sell Partner Marketing Services. Stay connected with Sales leadership to understand how to best support their teams. Develop client-facing sales decks, deliver sales training, and create sales tools like discovery questions, objection handling guidance, sales email templates, and more.Competitive and Market Insights: Stay on top of the rapidly evolving world of B2B technology Partner Marketing by researching the latest market trends, challenges, best practices, etc. Understand alternative solutions that compete with our Partner Marketing Services business. Empower our Sales team to effectively position our offerings against key competitors.Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Work cross-functionally to establish, execute, and optimize the go-to-market strategy for Partner Marketing Services including near-term focus areas and the longer-term vision needed to achieve our company growth objectives.Packaging and Pricing: Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management and Product Operations to define and price turnkey Partner Marketing packages that meet customer needs.

Basic Qualifications

5-7+ years of professional experience required.3+ years in a Partner, Alliance, or Channel Marketing role required.Familiarity with Partner Marketing strategies, tactics, and challenges required.B2B technology and/or SaaS industry experience strongly preferred.Experience with Product Marketing a plus.BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
