About The Role:
As the Studio Event Designer, you will play a pivotal role in curating and communicating the visual and experiential aspects of our events. You will work closely with our Creative Director and sales teams to understand their vision, conceptualize event designs, and map out their implementation to ensure seamless execution and unparalleled guest experiences. This position requires a blend of artistic flair, project management skills, and a deep understanding of event logistics around food and catering.
Key Responsibilities:Conceptualize event designs that align with client expectations, considering factors such as theme, color schemes, décor elements, and overall ambiance.Assist in the development of detailed event design proposals, including mood boards, sketches, and visual references, to present to clients for approval.Uphold a creative, positive, and professional demeanor with clients, vendors, venues, and the internal team.Source and liaise with vendors, including florists, rental companies, and decorators, to procure necessary décor items and materials.Coordinate with internal teams, including culinary, sales, and operations to ensure seamless integration of design elements with event execution.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design techniques to continuously elevate the quality and creativity of our event offerings.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Design, or related field preferred.Proven experience (3-5 years) in event design, preferably within the hospitality or catering industry.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.Strong creative vision and a passion for crafting unique and memorable event experiences.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
