Responsibilities
Develop self-paced online training (eLearning) courses and supporting media assets.Gather information and course elements from internal departments, subject matter experts (SMEs), research institutions, and others to guide course development.Utilize instructional technology to ensure eLearning curricula meet the needs of diverse and geographically dispersed audiences.Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Learning Solutions Architects, Graphic Designers, and programmers to deliver content that meets requirements and training recommendations.Coordinate with instructional designers to evaluate storyboards, conduct needs analysis, and create course development timelines.Advise instructional designers and customers on the optimal modes of delivery for various types of training.Work with instructional designers to determine realistic timelines for each deliverable.Create interactive multimedia elements tailored to the length, complexity, and duration of each course.Design user experiences that support self-paced learning.Review courses for accuracy, interactivity, and technical soundness.Manage technical aspects of courses, including settings and packaging.QualificationsExperience developing effective digital and eLearning courseware using current methodologies and learning technologies.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in training, adult education, or multimedia training materials development.Experience creating animations and interactive elements for eLearning courseware using animation software.Proficiency with HTML and audio/video editing software.High proficiency with authoring tools used to plan and develop learning content (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Connect Pro, Photoshop, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Captivate, and video editing software).Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with various external and internal technical and functional contacts.Strong communication skills with all levels within an organization.
Please note that this is a W2 contract position. We cannot accommodate C2C arrangements. Candidates must be able to work on a W2 contract without any sponsorship indefinitely.
